NiS (nickel sulfide) crystals contained in glass will undergo a phase change at 379℃, converting α-NiS crystalline form at high temperature into the β-NiS form at low temperature. The phase transition causes an increase in volume by 2%~4%, resulting in rough surface. If these impurities are located in the tensile stress zone, the increase in volume may cause spontaneous breakage of tempered glass.
ll moving parts should be either in the chamber or located behind protective barrier. Blowers shall be equipped with air-intake grid. The opening/closing part of the lifting device shall have safety pins. The lifting device in the bending chiller section shall have safety hook.
As the borosilicate fire-resistant glass has a high softening point and very low coefficient of thermal expansion, it creates a big challenge to tempering process.
Use an electronic micro compressor with level 1 accuracy to measure the air pressure of the chiller and take the average of the 4 measuring spots to compare with the maximum and minimum values.
Poor flatness and uneven thickness of tempered glass will cause optical distortion. When it is used in laminated glass, the uneven thickness will result in optical deformation, deteriorating further the visual effect of the product. The local thinning of the laminated glass can also affect the bonding of the glass panes.
The driving system of the continuous glass tempering furnace: The main driving of the continuous tempering furnace, from low to high, is divided into the low-speed section and the high-speed outlet section.
The glass tempering furnace controlling system will automatically identify the tempering stage and adjust the air blowing pressure accordingly to reduce the unnecessary high load run.
Why is air the ideal cooling medium for tempering process in the glass tempering furnaces?(1) Keep the glass surface clean when cooling the glass tempering furnace;(2) Easily and precisely control the glass cooling speed by changing the air pressure…
