On August 14, the 'Zero-Carbon Building Development Forum for Severe Cold and Cold Regions and Low-Carbon Technology Exchange for Ultra-Low Energy Building Envelopes' was successfully held in Urumqi, Xinjiang. The event was organized by the China Academy of Building Research and the China Association of Building Energy Efficiency, with co-sponsorship from companies including LUOYANG LANDVAC Ti-VIG CO., LTD. Nearly 200 experts, scholars, and entrepreneurs from across the country gathered to discuss and share insights on the development trends of zero-carbon buildings in severe cold and cold regions, as well as the application of low-carbon technologies in high-performance building envelopes for near-zero energy buildings.

Zhao Yan, Chairman of LandGlass, attended the conference and delivered a speech in which he profoundly elaborated on the milestone significance of zero-carbon building technology in driving the green and low-carbon transformation of urban and rural construction in Xinjiang. He also shared the achievements and promising prospects LandVac Titanium Vacuum Insulated Glass has attained in the green building sector in recent years. Zhao emphasized that LandGlass will use this conference as an opportunity to deepen its close exchanges and strategic cooperation with research institutions, local organizations, construction units, and upstream and downstream enterprises. Through resource sharing, technological complementarity, and collaborative innovation, LandGlass aims to jointly explore innovative applications of new materials, technologies, and models for green buildings, injecting strong momentum into the advancement of greener, low-carbon, and sustainable urban and rural construction in Xinjiang and other cold (severe cold) regions.

During the conference, 13 industry experts, scholars, and representatives from various fields delivered keynote speeches on core topics. They engaged in interactive discussions on ultra-low energy buildings, zero-carbon building exploration and practices, and the application of low-carbon technologies in high-performance building envelopes, all in the context of the 'dual carbon' goals. LandVac R&D Director, Zhang Hongxia, presented a detailed analysis titled 'Demonstrative Vacuum Insulated Glass Building Projects in Europe’s Cold and Temperate Zones,' where she elaborated on the development, testing, technical applications, and future prospects of LandVac titanium vacuum insulated glass in severe cold and cold regions. Her presentation was met with widespread acclaim from the attendees.

On the second day, the delegates visited Xinjiang's first zero-energy demonstration building, where they witnessed and experienced firsthand the practical applications of LandVac titanium vacuum insulated glass, photovoltaic power generation, and high-efficiency heat recovery ventilation systems, among other energy-saving technologies and products. To date, LandVac titanium vacuum insulated glass has undergone comprehensive quality and reliability testing by more than ten domestic and international companies and authoritative institutions. Additionally, LandGlass has collaborated with over 50 window and door companies to develop vacuum insulated glass system windows, and the products have been applied in over 1,000 ultra-low energy and energy-efficient building projects worldwide. Looking ahead, LandGlass is eager to collaborate with more industry partners to drive the flourishing development of green building initiatives, making life safer and better for all!
