As South Korea’s largest and most prestigious glass processing enterprise, JA has long been a titan in the architectural safety glass industry. Renowned for its rigorous quality standards and exceptional product performance, JA consistently maintains the highest market share for safety glass in South Korea. Meanwhile, LandGlass, a global leader in glass tempering technology, has been a strategic partner to JA since 2006. Over twenty years of shared vision and four major collaborative milestones, the two companies have forged a legacy of mutual success in the high-end glass processing sector.

Foundation of Trust, Momentum of Collaboration

The enduring strategic partnership between JA and LandGlass is built on deep mutual recognition and shared achievement. LandGlass’s technical prowess and product reliability have been consistently validated through decades of operational excellence. In 2023, to capture the high-end fire-rated glass market, JA turned to LandGlass for the third time for their major investment: the LandGlass Cyclone A2480U Fire-rated Glass Tempering Furnace. Since its commissioning, the equipment’s superior performance has enabled JA’s fire-rated glass to pass the stringent KS F 2845:2013 tests conducted by the Fire Insurers Laboratories of Korea (FILK). Meeting Korea’s top-tier safety glass standards allowed JA to rapidly seize market share and further fortify its competitive barriers as an industry leader.

Seizing the Future: A New Era of Intelligence

Building on this momentum, JA expanded its investment significantly in 2026 by purchasing three LandGlass high-end, ultra-sized tempering lines. This ambitious project aims to establish South Korea’s first and largest intelligent glass tempering factory, focusing on the processing of ultra-sized architectural glass to further widen JA’s competitive edge. Tailored specifically to JA’s requirements for ultra-sized glass, these three lines are scheduled for delivery in July 2026. Once operational, they will drastically enhance production efficiency and product quality, driving JA toward comprehensive industrial upgrading and high-quality development.

“From our first LandGlass tempering machine in 2006 to this three-line investment in 2026, every step has been rooted in our unwavering trust in LandGlass’s technology and quality,” remarked Mr. Kim, President of JA Glass. “LandGlass’s convection technology is world-class. The quality of glass tempered by LandGlass Convection furnace far exceeds industry averages—particularly their processing of Triple Silver Low-E glass, which is highly competitive in the Korean market and has earned us the trust of countless clients.”

This fourth major collaboration marks a new milestone in a twenty-year journey and serves as a flagship demonstration of LandGlass’s high-end equipment in the South Korean market. It underscores LandGlass’s technical dominance and brand influence in the global ultra-sized and high-end architectural glass sector, laying a solid foundation for further international expansion. Looking ahead, LandGlass remains committed to the glass tempering industry. Through cutting-edge technology, superior products, and dedicated service, LandGlass continues to empower overseas clients to achieve industrial transformation, creating lasting value and a winning future with partners worldwide.
