In January, leveraging its technological expertise accumulated in the field of automotive glass tempering, Landglass launched an upgraded integrated solution for automotive glass tempering. The portfolio covers tempering solutions for windshields, sidelites, backlites, sunroofs, panoramic glass roofs, decorative glass, and charging pile glass. LandGlass now offers the automotive sector a comprehensive one-stop manufacturing solution.
In March, LandGlass launched two breakthrough bent glass tempering technologies that redefine industry limits. Capable of processing both tight-radius and large-arc curved glass, this equipment empowers businesses to broaden their reach with a lean investment. Furthermore, LandGlass’ innovative tempering process achieves precise regulation and even distribution of air pressure, reducing the "anisotropy" typical of curtain walls, delivering unparalleled aesthetic clarity and driving a total upgrade in product quality.
In June, LandGlass’s new composite metal-edge portless vacuum insulated glass (VIG)—along with the development and application of its composite metal one-step edge-sealing manufacturing technology—was evaluated as internationally advanced. Notably, its composite metal one-step edge-sealing fabrication process was rated as internationally leading. This marks the first technical achievement in China's VIG sector to receive a comprehensive evaluation from a national authoritative industry body, with its core process recognized at the forefront of global technology.
In July, 10 core VIG products from LandGlass received dual EPD (Environmental Product Declaration) certifications from both China and the European Union. This achievement makes LandGlass the company with the highest number of EPD-certified product categories and the most comprehensive application coverage globally. It signifies a major breakthrough for China’s VIG industry in low-carbon standardization, marking a decisive shift from individual product innovations to full-series market leadership.
